Report says nuclear explosion is an abiding risk
The Virginia Beach News.Net Thursday 20th November, 2008
A new report has been released to say the world still faces a serious risk of nuclear explosion, with weapons-making materials falling into wrong hands.
US President-elect Barack Obama has been made aware of the new report, titled: "Securing the Bomb 2008."
It is believed Mr Obama will make reducing nuclear risk a top priority of US policy.
The new report says while major progress has been made to reduce the dangers of nuclear terrorism, there are still major gaps in these efforts and the risk of terrorists acquiring a nuclear weapon remains unacceptably high.
It claims there are currently about 130 research reactors around the world that still use highly enriched uranium for fuel.
The report warns the potential for a disastrous attack is very real and could turn cities such as Washington or Manhattan into smoking ruins, leaving burnt land that would be unusable for decade.
The study is the seventh annual report from Harvard University's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.

check out the you tube of Obama saying in 52 seconds how he will disarm the USA and he will rid the world of nuclear weapons. This shows the world what a cook we have in the whitehouse. You tube “Obama 52 seconds” to see the video of himself saying this. If he can’t stop the terrorists getting the weapons then how can he stop the rest of the world?

Prepare for another false flag event staged to ensure we all support Israels bombing Iran to smithereens. Also, watch for Obama to be shot, inciting race wars in the US and providing the needed stimulus to call Martial Law. It’s also a handy way to get everyone’s mind off of the corrupt transnationals and government officials I’m sure many would like to lynch. All in a days work for the CIA. When do we get to declare the US as a terrorist state and start boycotting them until they learn to get along with others?

Report says nuclear explosion is an abiding risk
When you say acquire one has to assume that you are referring to a coup that leadds to the overthrow of an existing nation which would lead to access of a nuclear program. The odds remain high, against such move because of UN intervention.
This is a question that always leads to where to draw the line in the UN. It is a repeat of the same defence used to question Nation Rights to self defence. It is, as the UN recognises an act of war.
The question remains however, when to halt a nuclear program and when to allow such a program to continue. While it remains true every nation has the right to self defence. Every nation should be encouraged to be self sufficient too.
Energy resourses are more about fulfilling the needs of the masses than catering to the international community who is not economically able to support entire nations anymore. They must become self reliant.

A noticable difference!!!
Reading through the headlines... , there is an afterglow of the lil bush aDMINISTRATION showing already!
Seems like the gang has vacated the 'news rooms', and there is a new sense of 'righteousness' prevailing.
Of course there has not been a moral conversion by Our Leaders, only a heading for 'cover'.
How habbit forming will it be? , such is the real question!
A slow process indeed! As the buildup to Our Crisis, took some 30 years. How long will it take to make an honest/just world community?
